Matthias Jeschke Set New High Altitude World Record aboard the Jeep Wrangler

Matthias Jeschke, German off-road amateur who made the first high-altitude world record in 05 at the a Toyota Land Cruiser has once again established a new altitude record. This time Jeschke and his team have successfully made the world altitude record by March 13 using two standard Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 3.8 V6 model after a grueling week of expedition and navigation in Ojos del Salado located in the beach South American mountain in Chile.on the first day of the expedition in the province of Copiapo in Chile, Matthias Jeschke's team was divided into groups. These include two camera teams that will capture the action on the adventure of the team; purchasing team that bought the latest requirements; brand team who covered the cars with stickers of team sponsors; team of engineers who made the special electronic installation; and the navigation team has implemented several laptops, GPS equipment, satellite phones and other things necessary for the expedition.The third day, most of the team members got a headache, dizziness, and feeling unwell because of turbulent past mountain nights. Matthias Jeschke verified the performance of all team members to bring them into the appropriate groups for the following days of adventure. In addition, the team also conducted a tough test for the Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The team tested the Jeep Wrangler's ability to roll over boulders, rocks and sand, and the limits of tilting the vehicle off-road. In addition, the engineering team has verified the differential locks, shock stabilizers direction, chassis parts, Jeep grille guard and other technical features of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.During the 11th day of the expedition, Matthias Jeschke team climbed the Ojos del Salado, at a height of 60 meters, and with a huge effort from all the team members, the Jeep Wrangler is mounted at a height of 6358 meters, which is the old record mark he did last 05.the biggest challenge was March 12, the day before Matthias Jeschke made the new record world altitude using the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. He said: "The team is exhausted for days, we spent a lot of time in high altitude it was windy all the time, and there was sand everywhere which flew into your ears and small climbing space was only possible by a supreme effort ... to the point of exhaustion. Working in the burning sun (which tans the face although it is ice-cold was) also really challenging. so you can see it was time for a day off. "Finally, on March 13, Matthias Jeschke and his team successfully climbed at an impressive altitude of 6646 meters aboard the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. According to Jeschke, it is sure that no other person will ever reach or even break his unbelievable altitude because already reached the summit between the two secondary peaks, only 247 meters below the summit of Ojos del Salado mountains and Chile -Atacama.
