This is one of the most important issues that is confusing many people these days! Many of us in handling our HID kit are confused about whether or not to opt for the use of a relay harness. Well, the answer to this important question depends on a number of other factors such as the type of application, the installation location of the HID kit, low beam / high beam / use of fog lamps, etc.

Most of the time a HID kit can be plugged directly into the socket of the lighthouse panel. However, results may vary depending on the vehicle wiring type and use of automatic lighting controls. In older models of cars, generally the headlights derive power directly from the order taking.

Most harnesses relay configurations meet the soaking voltage problems associated with automatic switching of headlights. The LOD operating voltage used in your car will configure DRL use. If the operating voltage is 6.5 volts, a single beam HID relay will work, or a DRL module must be used.
